Elite 1-MILE Athletes:
In an effort to keep the racing fast and exciting for both the athletes and the spectators, there will be qualifying standards for Elite registration. Results must be submitted from a sanctioned event (run after 5/21/2021) to rochestermile@gmail.com. Eligibility will be verified by meet officials prior to entry into the elite corral. Email rochestermile@gmail.com with questions.
Qualifying times are as follows: (converted 1500M & 1600M times accepted as well)
- Elite Men 4:30 mile
- Elite Women 5:30 mile

Masters 1-MILE Athletes:
For 2022, the Rochester Mile is the USATF National Championship race! Masters men and women will compete in separate heats with awards to the top male and female finishers in each age group, age-group teams, overall race winners, and the top age-graded athletes. This will be the inaugural year hosting the championships with master’s course records up for grabs!
Amateur 1-MILE Athletes:
Amateur competitors do NOT need to qualify in order to race! That’s right: – NO QUALIFYING TIME REQUIRED for Amateur Men or Women!
